Richard Achée

Richard is the creator and global programme lead for breakbeatcode, a 20% time project at Google that teaches students how to code through beat making and music creation. The breakbeatcode team works with schools and nonprofits to offer the free breakbeatcode curriculum, teacher training, and community events like the "Hour of breakbeatcode". The breakbeatcode programme has grown to hundreds of volunteers supporting thousands of teachers and students in over 20 countries around the world. For over 25 years, Richard has been working with organizations of all shapes and sizes to help them become more collaborative, creative, and innovative. He is also a board advisor and mentor for a number of high growth start-ups in the U.S., Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
