Michael has been responsible for pushing Arcus Animation Studios forward since co-founding it in 2010, securing repeat contracts in UK Broadcast, Arts based multimedia projects and Promotional Video, Michael has had a continued focus on creating work and opportunity for the North East animation sector.
In 2017/18 he wrote and produced Arcus' first immersive film 'Star Maker', an adaptation of the seminal philosophical sci fi novel of the same title. The immersive film won the foremost International Fulldome Award the JANUS Directors' award and continues to play in the US and Latin America.
In 2019-2021, Michael led the team that developed Fulldome production software Festoon, a tool aimed at democratising the production of fulldome content by utilising the potential of VR.
Arcus Studios’ second Fulldome film There be Dragons is currently in post production.
