Hazel is Managing Partner at Hawkins Brown, one of the UK’s top ten architectural practices. Having joined when it was a start-up, she has been instrumental in the growth of the practice, shaping the creative culture and its recent transition to Employee Ownership.
As a practising architect Hazel has designed projects from schools to art galleries. She is fascinated by the impact the built environment has on people – both individuals and communities. So much so, she has recently completed a Masters in Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics. Hazel believes that by better understanding human behaviour she can make more informed decisions, whether as an architect or as a business leader.
Hazel has also held roles as visiting tutor and external examiner at several UK schools of architecture.
