Emilie is an energetically creative neurodivergent adventurer with over 13 years of experience as an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) leader. Her roles have spanned a variety of sectors including non-profit, the arts, health & wellbeing, financial services and retail, and on many occasions, has collaborated with Global Top 50 Inclusive Companies listers in her work. She initiated the UK's first British Sign Language-speaking bank branch after recognising the community's need for such a service and co-designed a solution with the community itself; this ultimately launched her career in EDI.
Emilie is also an EDI advisory board member for a number of global organisations, a trained therapist and has founded an arts collective, Atmostherapy, that builds immersive sensory experiences for mental health. She regularly speaks at events (a bit like our Creative Coalition Festival!), sharing her personal experiences as a neurodivergent person and how they have shaped her career.
