Dr. David Dunkley Gyimah

Dr David Dunkley Gyimah, PhD, is a creative technologist, academic and journalist - a multi-hyphenate in storytelling & diversity. He specialises in Innovation, digital labs and Cinema Journalism - the podcast equivalent of video journalism. Diversity is integral to his work. In the last few years projects he's been involved in include, international reviewer for Google News Initiative Innovation Challenge, co-founding a new national media diversity journal between Cardiff and Birmingham City University's Sir Lenny Henry Centre called "Representology", and co-creating a landmark exhibition and book "The Leaders' List" which profiled 57 leading UK Black and Brown TV and media practitioners. Dr Dunkley Gyimah has previously worked for Channel 4 News , ABC News, BBC Newsnight, Dotcom start ups, and as a freelance correspondent in Apartheid South Africa. He's a former Artist in Residence at the Southbank Centre and has received wide industry praise for his work.
