Carlton is unique in that he has senior corporate leadership experience, working for FTSE100 organisations, he also has with success in building start-up businesses, so has straddles both side of the fence and has a real insight and understanding into the corporate world. He has extensive experience and has researched how to help organisations develop the required skills, knowledge, and strategies to create peak performance teams. He is the author of two books , peak performance optimisation and also a book on CSR and diversity supply chain , and also a series of academic peer reviewed articles. He is also the founder of the UK Black Business entrepreneur conference, which looks at the diversity and inclusion and the disparities , that are often driven by complex , systemic , structural and cultural challenges .
