Dharshini is a senior BBC Economics and Trade Correspondent, Radio 4 Presenter, Economist and author. She left the trading floors of Government and HSBC in her early career to cover financial stories for the BBC; first in London and then in New York, where she was appointed the BBC’s North America Business Presenter. Dharshini has also presented business, political and general news programmes for Sky. Her author accolades include, “The Almighty Dollar”, which is a guide to the global economy featured on many school curricula, and the forthcoming, “The Eco Dollar”, on the evolution of the green economy.
